‘Javelin’ recorded live at The Railway

Ahead of our performance at Blissfields Festival this summer, we were special guests at the Road to Blissfields competition in Winchester. We tested out brand new track ‘Javelin’ which was stealthily caught on camera by our resident movie maestro Seth Baines. Congratulations to Kin for storming away with the prize.

Over the summer Flight Brigade were asked to play at the Team USA Olympic safe house. Their set had to include a cover so they decided to do a rendition of John Martyn’s ‘May You Never’.

“Transcendent Compositions” – Review

An indie bands blog in the US and A got hold of our self-mixed EP and wrote a very articulate review. Unfortuantely they grabbed a photo of us taken in the early 1970′s, and got hold of a video we forgot existed, but such considered prose deserves an airing on the FB airwaves. Here’s an extract:

“With some transcendent compositions Flight Brigade were able to raise a pique of interest in a genre of music with which I generally struggle. Once again I find a band where keeping the volume levels to the mid-point permits the full flavour of the music to weave its majestic path.
